Sew A Needle Pulling Thread:
Anna is finishing her show laundry from "Three Poets" and is doing some Halloween costume prep/thinking. 

Spinning! 
Bethany spun about half an ounce of fiber that looks like Cookie Monster. 

Netflix and Knit:
Anna is still watching Scrubs. 

Bethany watched the first disc of the directors cut of the Fellowship of the Ring, one or two episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation. She is binge watching seasons 7 and 8 of One Tree Hill. 

In Rehearsal/Performance: 
Anna closed "Three Poets"

Bethany's household closed "6 Characters in Search of An Author." She acted in a One Night Only Staged Reading. And her dog, Roxie, played the role of Bruiser Woods in Legally Blonde, Jr. at Puyallup Children's Theater. 

Events: 
Bethany will be at the tailgate Seahawks season opener on September 11 at Yorkshire Yarns in Lakewood, Washington. 

Bethany and Anna will be at the Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival in Canby, Oregon September 24 and 25. flockandfiberfestival.com

Bethany and her sisters will be at Geek Girl Con in Seattle, Washington on October 9. geekgirlcon.com

Bethany and Anna will be crawling in the PNW Yarn Crawl. The Yarn Crawl runs from Oct. 21-23 and we'll be crawling on the 23rd.www.pnwyarncrawl.com 

Techniques discussed: 
After thought thumb, picking v throwing, 'reading' your knitting, entrelac, color work, kitchener, steeking, lace, knitting through back loop, make 1 increases.
